it is known as art for art's sake, the cult of beauty or aestheticism. They try to keep politics and social problems out of literature. The practitioners of the school include oscar wilde, bouldlaire ,walter pater etc.. More or less , you could trace something in them to John Keats for this school or movement is an extention of the romantic movement.

这个问题太大了，最好结合文本来探讨。搜索王尔德，惟美就能在学术论文库里找出一堆一堆的资料。小到“I hear her hair has turned quite gold from grief. ”这句话都大有文章可做."hear","her","hair"押头韵."gold","grief"押头韵,金发这个意向,被很多论文都谈到过.主要不是说哪句哪句惟美了,而是他的作品体现了他对这种美的意向的追求.
