Did thee see the death of the innocence

你看到那些死去的无辜者了吗

In pools of blood that everywhere could be found?

在四处都可以见得到的血泊之中？

当他们点燃加农炮时

As all the hope and dreams were lost

当所有的希望和梦想落空的时候

Did thee smell the smoke of destroy

你闻到那毁灭的浓烟的味道了吗

In those beautiful lands which once in pictures were drawn?

在这些曾是画中景象的美丽土地上？



听了Cara的歌，忽然又想起残酷无情的战争，残忍血腥的杀戮，流血牺牲的死亡......感慨良多，作此小诗，但愿不只是西线，而是天下所有的土地，不论肥沃或贫穷，不论广阔或狭小，不论古老或年轻都无战事。希望我们的历史不是用千万人的鲜血写就的，光辉的人类史处处都写满人性最伟大的关怀，能用和平书写人类的宣言。
