刚到UK时听了一场关于william blake的讲座，是来自bath university的一个研究W.B的专家，她发现blake的诗非常受其母亲所信的宗教的影响，记不得怎么拼的了(音morovian,anyone who might know,plz help me out)，而且blake的继父好像还是是那种宗教的从德国转移至英国的重要倡导者之一。而该宗教里的很多赞美诗与blake早期的诸多诗歌风格相似。
winter break前听了另一场讲座，是一个曾获得英国学术界某个研究奖的(i vagely remembered of some "shakespeare" title)中年妇女做的专题，比较拜伦和简奥斯汀，两人的narrative irony，一开始听得有点莫名其妙，怎么这两人都能比啊？后来渐渐听她引经据典，觉得又make sense了很多。体会之一：英国学者很骄傲的，自己国家盛产的几个著名重要作家，就是喜欢把他们颠来倒去地比较，文学嘛，至于有没有道理， 总能justify themselves的。
看了朵朵的资料你应该比我大哦，我生日是06/10/1984，听到别人叫我姐姐就很恐慌并谨慎，在reed(which is also the name of a popular bakery in my town)上经常看到一群中学生讨论诸如baudelaire,carson Mcullers,etc，觉得自己真是老了~~~

哎 虽然我的动作是在挖坟 不过看到三年多前的贴子 还是感慨芦笛没有来错啊
我不是一个学文学专业的人，不过对于文学还是相当喜欢的
不能做出很有价值的言论，只能发表自己浅显的理解和感受
希望大家能够包容我的无知
