There once was a star
who sat in the sky,
as she looked on a planet called Earth
at the wanton greed and destruction
the star asked itself ..why??
For it had been born many eon's ago
and had seen much stupidy from this world past it go,
it watched the birth of war's
it watched the demise of a soul
it sat with a tear hanging by a thread
and wondered if things had been different..instead.
The little star sat and watched the birth of newborn life
it's heart blew a wish upon the child,
for in this one child
Earth's destiny hung in the balance
for this one..lone..child
was a visionary of it's kind.
The star sat and kept watch over the child
soon the child had grown into a beautiful woman
one whom it's peer's listened to.
The little star felt deep emotion
for it was it's time to fade into dust,
it wasn't sad at its passing
for in it's long life
it had been given a most precious gift
